At a promontory

Spent 3 hours writing a... 671 word essay. Now I have to cut it down to 250. On a side note, I accidentally opened an "opencirca.doc" and read a short novel which I wrote in late-2007. It began with:
"The [trouble] of man is not often the disparity by which [may remain] unfazed, but bridging the chasm that thus makes for this disparity."
I don't really understand what I had meant. But I interpret it as, the biggest difficulty problem is not a set of differences - in fact some may remain undaunted by the sheer contrast - but resolving these differences. Differences between what you want and where you are at. That's particularly true at this moment.

Sadly, it's not just a matter of 421 words, but 9400 miles.
