Received a message from Eric today starting with this picture.
The parts were supposed to ship to my house, so apparently he pulled off a scam and asked Jurgen to ship them to his house, saying that there's no one at my home to pick them up. Thanks man. He was saying that when I asked him the other day, "What if I run away with your stuff?" he was laughing inside.
All this to force me to meet him! -_-;
I told him pointedly that even if the things came at my doorstep, I'd have needed to pass them over to him in a personal meeting anyway.

1) A FRM 34T/BCD110 chainring weighs only 26.4g! Wow!
2) A Stronglight 50T/BCD110 chainring weighs 89.9g! Heavy! Also means I caught more cheaters in the light-bikes listings, lol.
3) The build quality on the Parlee clamp far supercedes the BTP clamps.
4) Front deraileur weighs 64g after insane amount of tuning and sourcing for the 2007 Campagnolo chassis.
Pretty nice.
Anyway, I hadn't been able to write about my research etc. lately because of admissions issues. I can't wait to get back to research after 1st-2nd Jan. Other bad things happened, e.g. my 5 year old hosting account was canceled just this week! I didn't even have a chance to backup the things inside. Fortunately I had watered it down to ~3MB of writings, but still... sigh, I need to find another place to host my documents now.
