Lighting repairs on gauge controller

It's back to work on this part (after a long time). We're still using the copper wire to bypass the fuses (forgot to buy them lol), but we changed the faulty/dim filament bulbs on the panel for automobile headlamp LEDs, which are bright, last long, and don't heat up as much during long usage.

 Automobile headlamp LEDs

The original bulbs were rated 12 VDC, 30 mA. Fernando led me in a shopping spree (where he was distracted by a 3100 rpm cooling fan which he thought of connecting to the aircon fan belt with a rod and using as a supercharger) to find these. Bare LEDs are rated 6 VDC and will be a trouble to set up (they are installed by pushing into 2 clips, so bare pins wouldn't just go in)... won't look as bright etc. So at 2 for $4, these are worth the price.
The clips that hold the lamps in place are clear in this picture.

The lamps have to be pulled out gently with a pair of pliers.

The new LEDs.

Here are the pins on these. I bent them out for illustration of what a bare LED's pins will be like - they wouldn't fit into the clips inside each button.

It lights up nicely with the plastic lamp shade and acrylic filter.
